1.01 DESCRIPTION:

• Stone Color Enhancer™  is designed to magnify and protect the natural colors and textures of unpolished, flamed, tumbled, honed, and rough textured stone surfaces, especially slate.

1.02 SUMMARY:

• Stone Color Enhancer™ will highlight the vibrant colors of natural stone while producing a clear low matte finish that will protect the stone. This special formula bonds to both interior and exterior stone for maximum protection while allowing the stone to release moisture vapors. Stone Color Enhancer™  will also help prevent staining and is UL Classified for Slip Resistance.

3.03 BENEFITS:

3.04 SUBMITTALS:

3.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE:

• Always test a small area before using to assure compatibility.

• Test Area: Apply the Stone Color Enhancer™ to a small area at the project site in accordance to the manufacturers directions of the bottle label. Be sure to record all the test results including coverage and stain prevention.

3.06 PRODUCT WARRANTY:

• SCI guarantees complete satisfaction of its products. If not completely satisfied with the performance of the product, when used as directed and the surface has been tested first, contact Stone Care International, Inc. for a refund of the purchase price or a replacement by another SCI product. Determining the suitability of the product for any intended purpose shall be solely the responsibility of the user. There are no warranties, express or implied, including those of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose which extend beyond the description on the product label.

3.07 HANDLING:

• Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.
• Vapors are harmful. Use with proper ventilation.
• Wear gloves and goggles for maximum protection when applying.
• Contains petroleum distillates that are combustible.
• Keep out of the reach of children and animals.

3.08 RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Test a small area before using to determine if the ENHANCER is appropriate.
• Do not allow the ENHANCER to puddle on the surface.
• Always smooth the ENHANCER on the surface.

3.09 FIRST AID:

• If contacted with skin, rinse with gentle soap and water. Call a physician if symptoms continue.
• If contacted with eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. Call a physician if symptoms continue.
• If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Call a physician immediately.
• If inhalation is excessive, get person to fresh air.
• For emergencies, call 1-800-535-5053.

PART IV- Product Procedures:

4.01 SMOOTH UNPOLISHED SURFACES:

1. Be sure that the surface is free from loose debris and all coatings are completely removed.
2. Apply with a Rayon mop or terry cloth towel only doing 50 square feet at a time. You can also spray a small area and spread with a terry cloth towel.
3. Smooth the uneven and puddled areas with the mop or terry cloth towel.
4. Let the surface completely dry for five to ten minutes and add a second coat if necessary.
5. Proper curing time is approximately 24 hours.

4.02 VANITIES, WALLS and COUNTERTOPS:

1. Follow the above procedures but apply the COLOR ENHANCER with a clean, soft towel.
2. Let the surface completely dry for five to ten minutes and add a second coat if necessary.

4.03 ROUGH SURFACES:

1. Follow all of the above procedures but apply the COLOR ENHANCER with a pump sprayer.

4.04 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:

1. Dust/Dry mop smooth surfaces daily.
2. Rough surfaces should be swept daily.
3. All surfaces treated with  Stone Color Enhancer™ should be cleaned daily with MARBALEX.

4.05 DISPOSAL:

1. Dispose of following local EPA regulations.
