Part I: General

1.01 DESCRIPTION:

• Grout Ink™  is a unique grout color restoring ink that will restore white, grey and earthtone grout close to its original appearance. The ink is contained in a simple to apply pen which makes the application to grout very easy. Anybody can use it. It's safe and very user friendly.

1.02 SUMMARY:

• Restoring color grout is one of the hardest chores to do in a home, hotel, or office building. Now grout can be brought back to its natural appearance with one or two simple applications of Grout Ink™.  Simply apply the  Grout Ink™ to the grout with the pen that it comes with and that's it. There is no spraying, no odors and no messes.

3.04 RECOMMENDATIONS: 

• Always test a small area before using to determine if the product is applicable.
• Natural stone should be protected with STONE SPRAY-N-SEAL®.

3.05 FIRST AID:

• For emergencies, refer to MSD Sheet and call 1-800-535-5053.
• If swallowed, contact a physician or poison control immediately. Never give fluids by mouth to an unconscious person.
• If inhalation is excessive, get person to fresh air. If unconscious, call a physician immediately.
• If contacted with eyes or skin, rinse with water for 15 minutes. Call a physician if symptoms continue.

PART IV- Product Procedures:

4.01 PREPARING THE SURFACE:

1. If the grout is dirty, clean first using  Ceramiclean®.
   *Apply Grout Ink™  after the grout is dry from cleaning.

4.02 DIRECTIONS:

1. Ensure surface is free from grease, dirt and other contaminants.
2. Shake well with cap on before use. Remove cap, and then press pen down vertically for a minute until you see the ink starting to flow.
3. Apply two (2) coats an hour apart.
4. Replace cap when not in use.
   * If grout is dirty, clean with SCI's Ceramiclean®.  before using the Grout Ink.
   * Note: Ink colors may appear slightly different from the color of the pen caps.

4.03 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:

1. General cleaning of Ceramic Tile, Porcelain Tile or Grout, use Ceramiclean®. 
2. Apply Grout Ink™  after the grout is dry from cleaning.
3. Wait 12 hours before wetting the grout or using the shower/grout.
   * Do not use any sealer over the Grout Ink™ , as it will repel it.
   * Note: Ink colors may appear slightly different from the color of the pen caps.
